What Comes in Each Crate

Every Culture Crate is designed to immerse you in the world of soap-making while preserving tradition through hands-on learning. Inside, you’ll find everything you need to craft your own bar of authentic olive oil soap, along with beautifully designed educational content that connects you to the history and heritage of saboon.

Printed Content:
Each crate includes a bilingual Saboon activity sheet with QR codes to step-by-step soap-making videos, a welcome note, a “Who’s Behind the Crate” card, a 32-page Saboon Crate booklet exploring history, science, culture, and sustainability, and a 5" x 7" vinyl sticker sheet illustrated with symbols of Palestinian heritage.

Soap-Making Materials:
For the hands-on experience, you’ll receive olive oil, sodium hydroxide (shipping within the U.S. only), a silicone mold, spatula, soap stamp, goggles, and gloves—everything you need to make traditional olive oil soap at home.

⚠️ Important Note: This crate is intended for adult use. Sodium hydroxide (lye) is a caustic substance—children should not handle it.
