As a child of Arab immigrants, I grew up immersed in the traditions of my heritage, but I often saw my culture and others misrepresented. This ignited my passion for design as a way to bridge cultural gaps and foster understanding. Throughout my career, I’ve dedicated myself to education, working closely with refugees and developing curriculum that reflects their identities. I’ve seen how empowering it can be for individuals to connect with their roots and how hands-on learning can help dismantle harmful stereotypes.Culture Crate was born from this journey, offering authentic experiences that celebrate the rich stories and traditions of communities that deserve to be heard.
